ECOLOGICAL SOURCE ANALYSIS

This ecological source analysis paper should be about 1 page (single-spaced) in length. The first 1/2 page should review and delineate your various input sources to support daily life, such as water, gas, electricity in the home/business/school, and fuel for transportation, home life, and to some degree the food you eat. It should also include various output streams, such as human/water waste and garbage. Determine where they go specifically, and try to determine the socio-economic status of the people who are located in the communities around these places. The various tests on the website should aid in this process, although some minor outside research will be required to help you to understand the full range of possible sources. In the second 1/2 page, you should analyze the linkages between those contributions and environmental degradation (e.g. the type of electricity used to support you and its varying contributions to environmental change generally), and the type of people that may be affected by your lifestyle choices. You should also explore what changes you could make to reduce your contributions, and what you believe would require more 'structural' or 'societal' changes to be made in order to most effectively address environmental degradation.
