ASSIGNMENT #7

DESCRIPTION:    The Student will do the following to satisfy the requirement of the assignment:

1)    Read Chapter SEVEN: AUSTRALIA.

            Author's note:  Chapter 7 was revised as of 1/1/00.

2)    Consider the following Questions:

a)    From the reading of section #3 on altering the U.S. Constitution, if the U.S. had a Constitutional Convention designed for your generation, what amendment(s) would you propose.

b)    Discuss the literary significance of the trek through the Blue Mountains with reference to Edel's discussion on World War II and how it affects the author.

3)    In the same manner as previous assignments, post a reasoned response to the Questions above in the corresponding Montour folder located within the "Student Resource Center" of  the discussion forum.  Then, copy the post into an e-mail and send it to me at APEMONTOUR@aol.com.  So, your answer should appear on the Discussion Forum and in an e-mail to me.
