Founded late 2017, a step back is based in Amsterdam but working with clients across Europe. It is the brain child of Andrea Price ( more details below) who brings on cross industry specialists to collaborate with on a per project basis.
The company aims to work with companies who want to innovate in their field and believe in teamwork and honest commerce.
Before starting a step back, Andrea was the Global Director of Digital Marketing for Tommy Hilfiger, a company known for its digital innovation.
Her role was to oversee the transformation of the digital ecosystem globally by setting the strategic direction for the brand online and overhauling process and platforms to allow digital to grow into a central part of the business.
With a company mandate to become an innovator in the field, she also led some of the companies most ambitious projects collaborating with industry giants Facebook, Google, AKQA and Twitter.
In her last two years at PVH her interests shifted to reimagining how data and insights could transform the way teams made business decisions. She created an internal think tank to reimagine marketing performance reporting and an infrastructure where all parts of the business could benefit from internal business data, competitor tracking, online listening tools and trend analysis.
Prior to Tommy Hilfiger she worked at 180 on the FIFA World Cup digital pr programme for adidas, the global relaunch of Western Union and DHL.
Her career began as an award winning advertising copywriter where she worked on creative for Coca Cola, Nike, Amnesty International and regularly published articles on music, design, architecture, fashion and digital innovation.
